Thursday, January 26th the London Recreational Racing Cup Series Powered by RoadLife made its final stop of the Round of 8, with a thrilling conclusion to the round at Talladega SuperSpeedway. After Shayne Therrien withdrew from the championship battle, seven drivers entered the evening looking to make the final 4, and go for the inaugural Cup Series title.

The Circle Alliance Pole Qualifying set the starting lineup for the Sport Graphic 250 Presented by Taki Edits. Single car runs ended with Raleigh Grant Davis on the pole with a quick time of 50.749.

The 100 lap race began smooth and clean, running the first half of the event caution free.
